Personal Injury
Serious injuries can be devastating, especially when a person suffers harm because someone else acted negligently or recklessly. Victims may experience a number of difficulties that affect their finances, their ability to work and earn an income, and their personal health and well-being. By pursuing a personal injury claim or lawsuit, a person may be able to recover financial compensation that will address issues such as past and future medical expenses, loss of past and future income, and physical and emotional pain and suffering.
Car Accidents
When a person is injured in a motor vehicle collision, the negligent driver who caused the accident may be held liable for the person's damages. We can help victims pursue compensation in accidents involving traffic violations, drunk driving, distracted driving, hit and run, and more.
Commercial Truck Accidents
Collisions involving 18-wheelers and other commercial vehicles may occur because of truck driver negligence, and they may involve factors such as driver fatigue, equipment failure, or improperly secured cargo. We work to help victims take action against negligent truck drivers and trucking companies.
Workers' Compensation
Employees who are injured in workplace accidents or who suffer health issues that occurred because of the work they have performed will usually qualify for workers' compensation benefits. These benefits are available for any work-related injuries, regardless of who was at fault. In addition to receiving medical benefits, an injured worker may qualify for disability benefits that address the income they have lost while recovering or impairments to their future income-earning capacity. Death benefits may also be available to family members of employees who are killed in workplace accidents.
Medical Benefits
All medical treatment that a person receives for a work-related injury should be fully covered by workers' compensation. By reporting an injury to their employer and informing medical providers that an injury is work-related, a person can ensure that all necessary treatment will be paid for.
School Employees
School teachers, staff members, and others who work in schools often turn to us for help with their workers' compensation claims. Our firm is recommended by the Illinois Education Association, and we work hard to meet the needs of injured school employees throughout the state.

Social Security Disability
People who suffer from serious and extensive health issues that prevent them from being able to earn enough income to support themselves may qualify for disability benefits through Social Security. To be eligible for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), a person must have suffered from a disabling health condition that has lasted or is expected to last for at least one year. They will also need to demonstrate that the physical or mental limitations of their condition have prevented them from earning a minimal amount of income each month.
Why Choose Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices?
Our firm provides compassionate and dependable legal representation for injury victims and their families. We are committed to protecting our clients' rights and providing personalized service to meet their needs.
