Giving Back 2014

Woodruff Johnson & Evans Law Offices

December 2014

We are proud to have once again partnered with the Walter & Connie Payton Foundation’s Toy Drive this year. We were able to provide toys and cash that will touch over one hundred deserving children. We didn’t do this all alone; we would like to thank our friends President Rocco Terranova of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 73, Julie Gately of Barnett Capital, and Jennifer Rice of the Fox Valley Labor News for their generous donations.

undefinedCongratulations to Waubonsie Valley High School wrestler Mitch Kroening. Mitch captured the Upstate Eight Conference Championship this Saturday in the 182 pound division. He was also recognized with the Jeff Mirabella Award as the tournament’s overall most outstanding wrestler. Kroening worked as a file clerk for the law firm of Woodruff Johnson & Evans last summer. He is also a graduate of the Waubonsie Wrestling Club; a program that the law firm has sponsored for the last five years. Congratulations Mitch and good luck at regionals!

Alongside other Kane County Bar Association volunteers, WJ&E attorneys offered their assistance in sorting and packaging food at the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry. The pantry serves families in need residing in Kane, Kendall, DuPage and DeKalb counties.
